Who provide these services?
The individuals who provide these services are Navigators. Navigators are Federally certified and state licensed in Florida to help consumers understand their health insurance coverage and costs. They are not insurance agents or brokers, do not represent any insurance carriers, and cannot make commissions or receive monetary incentives from insurance carriers.
What services do they provide?
Navigators are trained to provide information about health insurance, the Health Insurance Marketplace, qualified health plans, public programs such as Medicaid and the CHIP, and health insurance options available to the consumer.
What is the cost of these services?
Their services are always free and unbiased.
